A first glance at these young men did not immediately reveal who they were. It was only after spending some time with them that we began to understand who they truly were and the purpose that brought them together in Nairobi.

A PLACE THEY CALL HOME

Our journey led us to Don Bosco Utume in Nairobi, Kenya – East Africa. Beyond its gates, we encountered a community of young men whose warmth, sacrifice, spirit and sense of purpose made our visit memorable.
Don Bosco Utume is a centre of higher learning for theological and pastoral formation, preparing candidates for ministerial priesthood.

THE ARRIVAL

The PMJC team upon arrival was welcomed by the representatives of Don Bosco Utume. The atmosphere was indeed warm and inviting.

GIVING, ONE AT A TIME

There was also a moment of personal sharing. One by one, the young men came forward to receive snacks.
It was a simple gesture, but they expressed much gratitude. Sometimes it is the simplest gestures that make people feel remembered and cared for.

A GIFT OF ESSENTIALS

Beyond the individual sharing, PMJC presented supplies to the Don Bosco Utume community in bulk. Bags of rice, toiletries, packs of drinking water and other essential items were arranged and presented by the team.
Excitement spread through the gathering. In that moment, we knew our presence had meant something.

A TIME TO BOND

The visit was not only about what we carried with us. It was also about the moments we shared.
There were conversations, smiles, fellowship and time spent together. The young men welcomed the opportunity to connect with the PMJC team, creating memories that went remain.

WHY WE CALL THEM ANGELS

Perhaps “angels” to you, are heavenly beings. But that day taught us that humans on earth can also be likened to angels.
Angels are often associated with qualities such as kindness, service, selflessness, purpose and a willingness to make a difference in the lives of others. These young men exhibited all of these qualities.
And that was the impression they left with us.

THE DEPARTURE

The goodbye moments are always the toughest. Before leaving, the PMJC team gathered with the young men for photographs.

Our visit to Don Bosco Utume in Nairobi, Kenya – East Africa turned out even better than we envisioned and taught us a simple but important lesson about sacrifice.
Sometimes, sacrifice is the price we pay for a greater purpose.
Don Bosco Utume gave us a piece of their heaven.

We remain committed to reaching communities where compassion, encouragement, and practical support can make a difference. All we need is your support.

Sometimes, the most meaningful stories are found in places that do not make the headlines. They are found in quiet communities, in simple classrooms, and in the lives of children whose strength and spirit can leave a lasting impression.

The Discovery Just Began

PMJC NGO Ghana – The Prophetic Mandate of Jesus Christ Missions, during one of its humanitarian visits in Ghana, travelled to Ve-Deme in the Volta Region of Ghana, West Africa, where the team visited Ve Deme Christian Preparatory School and Orphanage.

A Place Where Children Learn and Grow

At Ve Deme Christian Preparatory School and Orphanage , children are given a place to learn, receive care, and grow. PMJC’s visit provided an opportunity to meet them, share moments with them, and experience their environment firsthand.

A Warm Welcome

The PMJC team was warmly received by the children and staff of Ve Deme Christian Preparatory School and Orphanage. Their welcoming smiles and gracious reception set a beautiful tone for the visit.

In the Classroom

The atmosphere was suddenly energetic and engaging. The children eagerly participated, responding with confidence and surprising the team with their intelligence and quick understanding. They listened and shared in the excitement of having visitors who had come simply because they cared. For a moment, the classroom was more than a place of learning, it became a place of connection and encouragement.

A Reward For Bright Minds

The children’s impressive participation and quick responses did not go unnoticed. In appreciation of their enthusiasm and intelligence, PMJC presented them with PMJC Lacoste T-shirts, a simple reward to celebrate their bright minds and active participation.

A Time to Share

With smiles and willing hands, the children helped gather the supplies brought for them. Rice, cooking oil, Indomie, and other essentials became more than just provisions, they were tangible expressions of care, thoughtfully shared with the community.

Words of Encouragement

A PMJC representative spent time speaking with the children, offering words of encouragement and reminding them of their worth and potential. It was a simple but meaningful moment—one meant to inspire confidence, nurture hope, and remind each child that their future matters.

Until We Meet Again

The visit sadly came to an end, yet PMJC left Ve-Deme feeling fulfilled. “Perhaps ‘heroes’ is not a word normally associated with children in a classroom. But after meeting these young minds, seeing their eagerness to participate, witnessing their confidence and enthusiasm, and sharing those moments with them, PMJC left with a different perspective. These children reminded us that heroism does not always look like a grand achievement. Sometimes, it looks like resilience, curiosity, courage, and simply continuing to grow despite life’s circumstances.”
More can be done for many little ones out there. All we need is your support. We remain committed to reaching communities where compassion, encouragement, and practical support can make a difference.

Sometimes, you travel to a place thinking you already know what the experience will be like. You have an idea of what you will see, who you will meet, and how the day will unfold. But every once in a while, a journey surprises you.

Our visit to Nigeria was one of those journeys.
In Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, West Africa , Promoting Mandate of Jesus Christ Mission (PMJC NGO Nigeria) had the opportunity to spend time with members of the Beautiful Gate Handicapped People Centre , a community dedicated to supporting persons with disabilities and helping them live with greater dignity, independence, and opportunity.

THEN WE MET THE PEOPLE

The most memorable part of the visit was not a building, a programme, or an itinerary. It was the people.
Meeting members of the Beautiful Gate community created an opportunity for genuine interaction, conversation, and shared moments. Behind every face was a different story, a different journey, and a different expression of strength.

What stood out was not simply the challenges some of the individuals had faced, but the determination with which they continued to live, learn, work, connect, and look ahead.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF STRENGTH

Beautiful Gate has dedicated itself to helping persons with disabilities overcome barriers and pursue greater independence. Its work is a reminder that disability should never be allowed to erase a person’s identity, potential, or place within society.

For the PMJC team, spending time with the people at the Centre offered a deeper understanding of something that can easily be overlooked: sometimes, the people we think we are going to encourage are the very people who encourage us.

Their resilience had its own voice.
Their smiles carried their own stories.
And their determination offered a perspective that could not simply be explained, it had to be experienced.

SHARING MORE THAN SUPPORT

The visit also provided an opportunity for PMJC to extend practical support and encouragement to the community.
But humanitarian outreach is never only about what is handed over. It is also about presence. It is about taking time to see people, listen to them, interact with them, and remind them that their lives matter.
A simple visit can become meaningful when people feel seen, valued, and remembered.

WHAT WE TOOK HOME WITH US

We arrived in Jos with the intention of giving support and encouragement.
We left carrying something less tangible but equally important, a renewed appreciation for resilience, human dignity, and the strength that can emerge in the face of difficult circumstances.
Perhaps that is what made the visit so unexpected.
We went to make a difference.
The people we met made a difference in us.

A MEMORY FROM JOS

The visit to Beautiful Gate Handicapped People Centre became more than another outreach on the PMJC mission journey. It became a reminder that humanitarian service is not simply about going somewhere to help.
It is about meeting people where they are, recognizing their worth, and allowing their stories to broaden our own understanding of life.

From Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, came a simple but powerful lesson:
Every person has a story. Every life has value.
This is one of the experiences PMJC NGO Nigeria will continue to carry with gratitude.

I can’t believe we never got to share our experience in Togo with anyone till now. Well, as the saying goes, “It’s better late than never”.
Back in 2022 , The Prophetic Ministries of Jesus Christ (PMJC) visited FSU / Orphelinat Mother Charity in Lomé, Maritime Region, Togo, West Africa. What began as a humanitarian visit became an experience that left a lasting impression long after it ended.

About FSU / Orphelinat Mother Charity in Lomé, Maritime Region, Togo, West Africa

FSU / Orphelinat Mother Charity is an orphanage in Lomé situated along the Gulf of Guinea. Lomé is the capital and largest city of Togo, serving as the country’s cultural, commercial, and humanitarian hub. The visit formed part of PMJC’s commitment to reaching vulnerable communities with practical support and genuine care.

The Welcome

The PMJC team was given a warm welcome by caregivers of the Home upon arrival. It was more than a visit. From the moment the team arrived, it became clear that this would be more than a scheduled visit.

Moments of engagement

Every interaction revealed a story waiting to be heard, and every smile reflected a resilience that was both humbling and inspiring. What was expected to be a simple act of giving gradually became an exchange of encouragement, appreciation, and genuine human connection.
The atmosphere was filled with warmth as friendships were formed and moments of joy unfolded naturally throughout the visit.

A moment with the little ones

The smallest arms often remind us of the greatest responsibility. During the visit, PMJC team members spent time holding, comforting, and caring for some of the youngest children at the home. For a few quiet moments, those little ones simply experienced the warmth of being safely held.

Small Gestures, Lasting Memories

As part of the outreach, essential items were shared to support the daily needs of the children and the orphanage. While the gifts were received with appreciation, it was the personal interactions that left the deepest impression.

The Goodbyes

As we walked away, little hands continued to wave. Those smiles stayed with us long after we left, reminding us why every journey of compassion matters. Thank you, Togo, for allowing us to share in a moment we will never forget.

At The Prophetic Mandate of Jesus Christ Missions (PMJC NGO Ghana), our core belief is rooted in sharing the love, hope, and light of Christ with those who need it most. Our recent outreach brought us to the doorstep of the King Jesus Charity Home, where we were blessed to spend a memorable day with incredible children and dedicated caretakers.

About King Jesus Charity Home

King Jesus Charity Home, located in Boadi (near Kumasi) in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, is a sanctuary for street children, orphans, and vulnerable youth.
The home works tirelessly to provide shelter, nourishment, educational assistance, and spiritual development to children who lack adequate family support. Relying on the grace of God and the kindness of donors, the home serves as a beacon of hope, ensuring every child has the opportunity to grow into a fulfilled, empowered adult.

Warm Welcomes and Opening Remarks

Upon our arrival, representatives from PMJC NGO Ghana met with the administration and caretakers of King Jesus Charity Home. We exchanged warm introductions, shared the vision behind our outreach mission, and expressed our profound gratitude to the staff for their tireless dedication to nurturing these young souls.

Candid Moments with the Children

As we gathered around the premises, we were greeted by the hopeful faces of the children. Every child here has a unique story, and moments like these remind us of the immense importance of presence, attention, and love in a child’s life.

Joyful Fellowship and Engagement

Outreach is about so much more than handing over physical items, it’s about heart-to-heart connections. Members of our PMJC team spent quality time interacting, laughing, and shaking hands with the children, creating an environment filled with warmth, energy, and genuine smiles.

Presentation of Essential Supplies

Through the generosity of our supporters, PMJC NGO Ghana presented essential relief items, including food cartons (such as Indomie noodles), bags of rice, water, and other necessities, directly to the home’s representative to aid in daily meal preparation for the children.

Moments of Play and Celebration

The atmosphere turned completely electric as the children celebrated! Laughter filled the courtyard, with the kids showing off their dance moves and vibrant energy alongside our team members.

United in Purpose – The Group Photo

Before saying our temporary goodbyes, the PMJC NGO Ghana team, the caretakers, and all the children gathered together in front of the King Jesus Charity Home banner for a commemorative group photograph—a testament to a day well spent in love, fellowship, and service.

One of the most memorable aspects of the visit was the opportunity to spend time directly with the children. Smiles were exchanged, conversations were shared, and simple interactions created moments of genuine connection.
There were touching scenes of care and tenderness as members of the PMJC team held and comforted infants, creating an atmosphere where every child felt noticed, valued, and embraced. These moments reflected the power of human presence and the importance of showing children that they are loved and remembered.

Extending Practical Support

As part of the outreach, various essential items and supplies were presented to the Centre to support the well-being of the children. The donations included food products and other household necessities intended to contribute to the daily care of the residents.
The presentation of these items represented more than material assistance, it was a gesture of solidarity with the caregivers and a demonstration of shared concern for the welfare of every child within the facility.

Voices of Appreciation

During the visit, representatives of the Centre expressed gratitude for the outreach and the support received. Their words reflected the significance of partnerships and community involvement in helping institutions continue their important work.
The exchange served as a reminder that sustainable care for vulnerable children is strengthened when individuals and organizations come together with a common purpose.

A Future Worth Investing In

Every child deserves an environment where they can grow, learn, and thrive. The visit to the Kwara State Children Reception Centre reaffirmed the importance of creating opportunities for children to experience care, encouragement, and hope regardless of their circumstances.
Through initiatives such as this, PMJC NGO Nigeria continues to contribute to efforts aimed at promoting dignity, compassion, and a brighter future for children and communities across Nigeria and beyond.
The outreach concluded with shared smiles, renewed encouragement, and the collective belief that every act of kindness has the power to leave a lasting impact.
