Promoting Mandate of Jesus Christ Missions (PMJC NGO Nigeria) paid a special visit to the Kwara State Children Reception Centre in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria, West Africa, as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting vulnerable children and strengthening communities through acts of compassion and service.
Located in the historic city of Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State in north-central Nigeria, the Reception Centre serves as a place of care and protection for children requiring temporary shelter, support, and guidance. The visit provided an opportunity to share meaningful moments with both the children and caregivers while reinforcing the value of community support and human connection.

In 2024, our team embarked on a deeply moving outreach visit to the Tamale Children’s Home in Nyohini, located within the Tamale Metropolitan District of the Northern Region of Ghana, West Africa.
The day was filled with a beautiful mix of humbling realities and pure joy as we spent time with the children, bonded with the dedicated caregivers, and delivered vital supplies to support the home’s daily operations.

Arrival and Preparation

Our 2024 mission began with the arrival of our team at the home’s administration grounds. Eager to serve, team members immediately set to work organizing and unloading a massive collection of food items and household necessities brought to ease the home’s daily burdens.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, the provisions included stacked crates of cooking oil, sacks of premium long-grain rice, multiple boxes of biscuits, clean drinking water, and essential toiletries. Every item delivered represented a collective effort to ensure that these precious children have access to nutritious meals and a comfortable living environment.

Heartwarming Nursery Moments

While providing physical resources is vital, the true heartbeat of the 2024 visit was emotional connection. Stepping into the nursery, our team members were deeply moved by the opportunity to hold, comfort, and care for the infants and toddlers.
Smiling faces, quiet cuddles, and shared moments of warmth filled the room. It was a privilege to stand alongside the local caregivers, sharing a mutual love for these little ones and experiencing the profound power of human touch and presence.

Connecting with the School-Aged Children

In 2023, Promoting Mandate of Jesus Christ (PMJC NGO Nigeria) organized an outreach visit to V.O.W (Hope) Orphanage Home located in Sango Ota, within Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State, in southwestern Nigeria. The orphanage is situated in Isorosi, Ota, a growing and culturally vibrant community near Lagos in West Africa.
The outreach was organized as part of ongoing humanitarian efforts aimed at supporting vulnerable children through compassion, encouragement, and practical care.
