Arrival and Community Engagement
In 2024, the outreach team visited the Gushiegu community in the Northern Region (Ghana – West Africa) with a mission of bringing care, hope, and practical support to residents. Community members warmly welcomed the team as meaningful interactions and engagements took place throughout the outreach.
Health Screening and Medical Support
A major part of the outreach focused on free health screening services for community members. Basic medical checks, including blood pressure monitoring and other routine screenings, were carried out by healthcare volunteers in a caring and professional manner.
The exercise provided many beneficiaries with the opportunity to better understand their health conditions and receive basic health guidance.
Compassionate One-on-One Care
The outreach created several touching moments as volunteers attended personally to individuals during the screening sessions. Beneficiaries were treated with patience, kindness, and dignity, reflecting the true spirit of humanitarian service and compassionate care.
These one-on-one interactions strengthened the sense of trust, comfort, and community connection throughout the event.
Sharing of Basic Supplies
As part of the outreach activities, basic supplies were distributed to support vulnerable individuals and families within the community. The gesture brought smiles and appreciation to many beneficiaries and served as a practical demonstration of love, support, and solidarity.
